The Anderson Auto & PowerSports Group Story
The tale begins with Dick and Judy Anderson — Dick, a proud South Dakota native, and his brother Roger, who ran several Midwestern dealerships. After a life-changing 1998 vacation to the sun-drenched landscapes of Arizona, Dick and Judy decided to sell their Midwest holdings and start fresh in the Southwest.
In 1999 they launched their new chapter by acquiring a Chrysler–Dodge–Jeep dealership in scenic Lake Havasu City. A decade later, in 2009, their son Jason followed in their footsteps, becoming owner and principal of the Anderson Auto Group when he purchased a Toyota store in Kingman.
Under Jason’s leadership, and guided by the family values instilled by Dick and Judy, the group expanded to include Nissan and Ford franchises — growing the Anderson legacy while keeping a strong, family-first ethos at its core.
In 2022 The Anderson Auto & PowerSports Group came to be when he purchased four powersports stores in Arizona. Located in Lake Havasu City, Parker and Bullhead City, Anderson PowerSports carry top brands including Yamaha, Kawasaki, Polaris, Sea Doo, Can-Am and Mercury.
In 2024, the Anderson Honda and Anderson Chevrolet auto dealerships in Kingman were purchased and in 2025 he further expanded the Anderson reach by purchasing his fifth powersports store in Reno, Nevada, adding CF Moto and Indian motorcycles to the long list of Anderson product offerings.
Today, Jason Anderson, the dynamic owner and principal of the Anderson Auto & PowerSports Group, which includes seven auto dealerships and five powersports stores, continues to uphold his father’s legacy with pride. He’s unwavering in his commitment to providing top-notch products and services to customers, all while actively contributing to the communities they serve.
Notably, the Anderson Auto Group has garnered accolades such as the 2013 Lake Havasu Chamber Business of the Year award and the prestigious 2017 Ethics in Business award from the Chamber.

Anderson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram: This dealership’s story began in 1999 when the Anderson Auto Group acquired Corral Chrysler Plymouth Dodge Jeep in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. In just two years, the dealership experienced phenomenal growth, prompting a move to its current location on Highway 95 in 2002. It’s a four-time recipient of the Chrysler Automobiles’ Customer First Award for Excellence, offering a diverse range of new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram vehicles, along with Certified Pre-Owned and previously owned options.
Anderson Toyota: Emerging in 2001 as part of the Anderson Auto Group, this dealership was born out of the acquisition of Tri-City Toyota in Kingman, Arizona. A surge in sales led to the construction of a 45,000-square foot facility in Lake Havasu City. Anderson Toyota now proudly sits off Highway 95. They’ve achieved the prestigious Toyota President’s Award a remarkable eight times, showcasing excellence in all facets of their operation. Anderson Nissan: Established in 2010, Anderson Nissan joined the Anderson Auto Group family with the acquisition of Copper Canyon Nissan. Located on Highway 95 in Lake Havasu City, this dealership experienced sales growth of over 200 percent in its first year. Anderson Nissan has earned The Nissan Award of Excellence, the highest recognition from Nissan North America, attesting to their unwavering commitment to excellence.
